Admitting defeat and knowing when to say enough is enough is a vital life saving skill for any adventurer who is pushing the boundaries of what the human body is capable. This doesn’t make it any easier to implement nor any easier to deal with the waiting media and sponsors on homecoming. Chris Bray and Clark Carter are two young Australian adventurers who had to face just such a situation in 2005. Their true strength and character was demonstrated when in 2008 they went back again to get the job done. Well done lads !
