Marathon running is not easy at the best of times. Running a marathon every day for 99 days is mindblowing. Throw in running barefoot and you have a distance running challenge of epic proportions. This video is about Tellman Knudson, a novice ultra marathon runner who is 33 days into a 99 day barefoot run across continental america. Hats off to the man. I really hope he makes it. He is raising money for homeless youth so please support him.

This is soooooo cool, Luke. Saw your tweet about it, and I so relate to what he is doing. I hike and run bare all summer up the mountains and on high desert trails here in NM. Go to my home page on my site and look at the photo collage of my bare feet. LOL!!! It’s at http://www.nakedineden.com. You should try it. Start out slowly and work up to it so your feet can get tough.Through the summer mine are so tough when I touch the bottom of them I can’t feel it on the pad parts like heel, ball of the foot etc. Last summer I was walking along in a desert trail and kept hearing this weird sound and I looked down and lifted my foot and I had about 50 goat burrs it it. LOLOL!!!
It is soooooo exhilarating going barefoot and really good for the immune systerm. I hope he finishes too. Am going to his website now. Thank you for sharing this Luke. So cool!! Robin
