Invented by Sir Clive Sinclair the A-bike is a result of a five year research and development program by Sinclair Research. “…the idea is that if you had a bicycle which is seriously lighter and more compact than anything existing at the moment, it will change the way in which people see bikes.” more info here: www.a-bike.co.uk

You take that thing off any sweet jumps?
I got one too!
When I’m folding it, I do the crossbar FIRST so it doesn’t mess with the clip.
And the wheels are the least of your troubles – They don’t seem so tiny when you’re on it and it actually bounces over bumps quite nicely, and the cracks in the road due to this year’s ice haven’t been a problem so far.
I’ll race you on my turtle.
how well does it handel pot holes???
@fixman88
Their minds, YOUR credibilty.
@loki1066 brilliant
@leeroyhighcontrast
You’re also leaving with the ability to lose your whole bike down a crack in the pavement.
@CodfishCatfish
So why the fuck didn’t he stick to what he knew?
Someone who gets chauffered around in a roller isn’t best placed to design transport for the masses.
I didn’t think Clive could fuck up as bad as he did with the C-5 …
He’s proved me wrong.
What a piece of shit.
Fine for riding around the lino in the kitchen , but what if you hit a cornflake on the floor or a hard piece of rice from last nights curry?
It should have been more “spring loaded”, push a button, give it quick jerk and the whole thing pops into shape, like an umbrella. Then it should fold right back up by pushing that little button while pushing down on the handlebars. That would have been cool.
wooowwwww
Designed for a circus act?
Useless outside.
Do a barrel roll!
were did u get that.
Potholes won’t be this bike’s best friend.
seems like old mate has bump his knee into the door coming back out ; )
nice fixie
transformers!!! jajajaja
@intupspaturken don’t know y your comment makes me laugh
I have one I got just a few a days ago and it’s not as hard to ride as one might think. It totally blew my housemates minds when I showed it to them!
maybe good for getting to 7eleven
I have one of these and the bike is not unstable. I changed the seat to a more comfortable one which makes riding it much nicer. Please remember guys and girls, that this was designed for short journeys, hopping off bus, train and tube. Not for doing the Tour De France. You will not get a smaller or lighter bike than this. You could probably take it as hand luggage on a plane, as it’s that compact when folded.
nice video
@raytruant Yeah but at least he is inventing, unlike you who sucks thumb all day in front of his PC. What was the last thing you invented…..and remember if it wasn’t for Sir Clives Sinclair ZX Spectrum that was the very first affordable home computer… peoples interest in PC’s might not have taken off….so where does that leave you………the internet might never have been invented…think before you speak DORK. In short I think we can say Sir Clive was really the first HOME PC…..
